Yes. Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch alerts off or on from your account at any time. Your sites keep being checked either way.

Yes. Cancel from your billing page in a couple of clicks. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
